P600 Max Case Study Release

Concurrent with the conference, the "Construction AI Development Report (2026)" and exemplary case studies were released. During the presentation session, Fengtan Robotics was featured as an innovative application case in the construction robotics field, with the grand unveiling of its fourth-generation P600 Max multi-functional coating construction robot, which garnered significant attention from attendees and sparked enthusiastic on-site response.

The P600 Max, Fengtan's flagship product globally launched in April 2026, is designed for building coating construction scenarios under 6 meters. For the first time, a single machine achieves full coverage of five processes: putty spraying, smoothing, sanding, vacuuming, and painting. The product is equipped with Fengtan's self-developed "Spatial Brain" intelligent system, leveraging multi-sensor fusion, AI path planning, and high-precision SLAM mapping and localization algorithms to achieve highly robust autonomous operation in complex, variable ground conditions and high-pollution, low-visibility environments. Compared to the traditional industry approach of using 2–3 separate machines in collaboration, the P600 Max can reduce customer equipment procurement costs by two-thirds, while increasing construction efficiency by 7 times compared to manual labor.

Appointed as Industry Expert, Recognized by the Sector

To build a high-end think tank for construction AI and bridge industry-academia-research collaborative innovation, the China Construction Industry Association's SME and Supply Chain Branch appointed 240 experts to the Construction AI Expert Pool, with the appointment ceremony held during the conference. Following public solicitation and rigorous review, Li Zike, Founder and CEO of Fengtan Robotics, was appointed as a Construction AI Expert by the China Construction Industry Association.

This appointment is a recognition of Fengtan Robotics' technical accumulation and industry influence. As a professional team with backgrounds in building digitalization, artificial intelligence, and robotics technology, Fengtan has accumulated extensive engineering experience in promoting the integration of AI with construction scenarios. This inclusion in the expert pool also means that Fengtan will play a more active role in industry technology trend analysis and standard development.

On-Site Demonstration of 3.2m Spraying Robot Draws Attention

The conference featured a dedicated exhibition area focused on cutting-edge innovations in AI + Construction. Fengtan Robotics showcased its 3.2-meter putty and latex paint spraying robot (P320) on-site, providing detailed explanations and exchanges with visiting guests on product details, technical specifications, application scenarios, and construction benefits. The booth was crowded with visitors and highly popular. Many attendees engaged in in-depth discussions with on-site staff on specific topics such as the practical implementation of the equipment in real projects and human-machine collaboration models, creating a vibrant atmosphere of exchange.

Systemic Transformation, Reshaping Construction

On the afternoon of July 3, at the sub-forum "Construction Robotics and Intelligent Labor Crew Collaborative Development Forum," Fengtan Robotics delivered a keynote speech titled "Construction Robotics Project Application and Organizational Innovation," sharing Fengtan's practices and insights on how construction robotics can collaborate with labor crews and drive changes in construction organization methods.

The speech systematically introduced Fengtan Robotics' development history and product matrix. Fengtan has established three major product lines: indoor coating construction, structural and ground construction, and auxiliary construction. Its products have been deployed at scale by leading construction enterprises including CSCEC, CREC, Zhejiang Construction Investment, Shanghai Construction Group, and Beijing Construction Group, and have expanded to overseas markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Hungary, with a cumulative construction area exceeding 5 million square meters.

The speech also highlighted the systemic transformation triggered by construction robotics. Changes in tools subsequently alter working methods, worker skills, and management content—the entry of construction robotics into job sites is by no means a simple equipment replacement, but rather a reconstruction of the core relationships between workers, tools, and work objects. This transformation is manifested in four dimensions:

  • Business Model: The "General Contractor—Robotics Labor" model compresses traditional multi-layer subcontracting chains.
  • Organizational Management: Crew structures and job responsibilities are restructured around human-machine collaboration.
  • Process & Craft: Construction processes are restructured around human-machine collaboration, forming standardized operation workflows.
  • Quality & Safety: Standardized robotic operations improve construction quality stability and reduce risks from human error.

The speech also proposed a "Five Elements" framework for the successful application of construction robotics:

  1. Scene Applicability: Selecting the right scenario determines operational efficiency and environmental compatibility.
  2. Tool Selection: Choosing the appropriate construction robot based on the scenario.
  3. Methodology: Re-sequencing processes and dividing human-machine work areas.
  4. Organization: Clarifying functional division under human-machine combination models.
  5. Capability: Conducting targeted training and assessment for new job responsibilities.

These five elements are interlinked, together forming the complete value chain from technology to value for construction robotics.
